Google News Changes Its Navigation Menu

I really like the brand new left column menu bar much better and it certainly is an improvement to its classic interface

Advertising Journal

Google News rolled out small changes to its user navigation today, which I realized as I lost my menu options which have been there for the past eight years on the right upper corner of the page.

I usually do a daily search on keywords "advertising industry" then I change my result set display. Default for news results is "Sorted by relevance" but sometimes I would like to see my news results as "Sorted by date" and "Show duplicates" and a "Reset" option.

I really like the brand new left column menu bar much better and it certainly is an improvement to its decade old classic interface.

Now, if the Google News team can only help me out here what ever happened to the Ulitzer news stories, then I will be all set for the weekend! :-)
